No. Qatar and the Middle East is full of fucking insanely rich people so it could be close associates of QATARI DIAR or whatever they're called.
Again, there are no other clubs (whom don't already have multi-billionaire owners) who are as attractive as we are for investment - and it doesn't even matter that we don't even own our ground. It means fuck-all.
It doesn't even matter that the ground - as attractive-looking as it is - is only an adequate venue for football and nothing more. They don't care. It's still a fantastic stadium with a large capacity and there is the potential to increase capacity to at least 66k. A safe-standing option for the lower-tiers in the future is also a possibility with the relevant approval.

Are you thick?! The land we are based in is worth a fucking fortune. The Qataris already own the Olympic Park. Our valuation as a club has sky-rocketed just by moving there.
Owning the ground doesn't mean fuck-all. Man City don't even own their own ground.
We are the most attractive proposition for investment in the whole country just by being located where we are now - this is on top of the revenue that we already generate and the size of our fan-base.
Within the space of the next five years; we'll be sold-off to seriously wealthy businessmen - most likely from Qatar (who already own the surrounding land anyway).
It baffles me that people struggle to grasp this. The sooner the deal is struck; the better.

I'm so angry with our owners and TITS MCGEE, Johnson son, that I can't hold back... I need to vent and I feel much better for it.
I cannot wait until they fuck off. The day can't come soon enough.
They'll probably alienate all of our support by the time they do. I'll probably get a life-ban for just being too pissed or something.

Btw I respect G&S for sniffing out an opportunity and for taking the club to the next level as it needed to be done, and I don't begrudge them a penny, but I just wish they would now step aside to allow larger investors to take us to an even higher level that they can never achieve and that the fans deserve after all the years without winning anything.

These cunts won't sell up until they have milked it. They won't pay the government a penny on any sale, so will have to stick around for another four years until that clause runs out. In the meantime they will want to increase value and profits to achieve the highest sale price down the line, so 66k and higher ticket prices while being frugal in the transfer market.
Expect four more years of the same. Gold said they sold up because 80% of Birmingham fans wanted them out, expect the same here in four years. That is their plan imho as every investment must have an exit strategy when it has been taken as far as it can go, they must get out at the top. They don't have the funds to compete with multi billionaires. There is a huge difference between having one billion as apposed to several billion and they know it. They will get what they want a massive profit and seats in the directors box.

I think the main question is whether levy and his boss over value spurs again and make the Qataris walk away the way a number of potential buyers have in the past. They can pick west ham up on the cheap, relatively.

I disagree, I think this rumour has legs. It wouldn't be that surprising if the premiership-mad, oil-rich arab billionaires were sniffing around our club (along with a few others no doubt)
Whether or not it would move us forward is another question
Despite what many of our fans think, I believe our current board are genuine supporters, despite potentially making a huge profit on their OS windfall
Like most people, I am massively underwhelmed by our summer signings
The question is whether better players would be attracted to play for us (& put in good performances) by being offered silly money by oil-rich Qataris, more so than the current board?

Not saying anything in it, but Charles Sale wrote that our bid was worth £10 mil to the LLDC about three years before anyone else knew anything about it, and that's exactly what it is taking into account matchday revenue and ...ahem.....stadium sponsorship.......

Can't see this rumour has any legs whatsoever, plus why do people think it's us?! That's just Charles Sale taking a punt.
From a business perspective there are better options than a club in turmoil in a unexpected relegation battle in their white elephant new home that will be half full to watch Rotherham next season.
We've had our billionaire and he went down in the global financial crisis.
Even we do, do we really want it? Really? Modern football is so shite, never have a West Ham team been so far away from it's fan base, both literally and metaphorically.
